7-Speed DCT Gearbox Mechatronic Faults
SeriousGearbox & TransmissionThe Chiron uses a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that handles 1,600 Nm of torque. Mechatronic unit failures can cause erratic gear changes, failure to engage gears, and transmission warning lights. The gearbox oil and filter must be changed at every service. Early cars were more prone to software-related gearbox issues, though hardware failures can occur.
