The Mistral inherits the Chiron's W16 powertrain with all its associated maintenance needs. Oil leaks, turbo service, and cooling system integrity remain ongoing concerns. The open-top design may expose the engine bay to additional environmental factors.
As an open-top roadster, the Mistral's convertible roof mechanism and associated seals are potential maintenance items. The roof must seal perfectly to prevent water ingress and wind noise at 250+ mph. Seal degradation and mechanism wear require attention.
Shared with the Chiron, the Mistral's 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox requires the same vigilance. Mechatronic issues, clutch wear, and software faults can develop, particularly with spirited driving.
