The final year of the original Urus before the facelifted model arrives. These last cars are the most refined and best-maintained, with all accumulated improvements applied.
The adaptive air suspension can develop leaks in the airbags or the compressor can burn out from overwork, leading to uneven ride height and warning lights.
The Urus shares its platform and many electronics with the Audi SQ8/Q8. This means it inherits known VW Group issues including ADAS sensor calibration faults, adaptive cruise control phantom braking, 48V mild-hybrid system glitches, and infotainment lag. The rear-wheel steering system can also develop electronic faults that disable the feature.
Given the Urus's kerb weight of over 2,200 kg and large alloy wheels, the front suspension control arms, bushings, and anti-roll bar links wear faster than on lighter performance cars. Worn bushes cause knocking over bumps, uneven tyre wear, and a vague steering feel. The 22/23-inch wheels are also prone to cracking or bending on UK potholes.
Despite having carbon ceramics as standard, the Urus's weight leads to rapid pad wear if driven hard, and some owners report persistent low-speed squeal.
