2022 Volkswagen Golf Life TDI 2.0L Diesel · AJ21 ARW

The vehicle presents a clean roadworthiness profile based on the most recent inspection. The test conducted on 14 August 2025 at 12,502 miles passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This indicates a stable maintenance trend where the vehicle's safety-critical systems and emissions components met all minimum DVSA standards at the time of the test. The mileage pattern is notably low for a four-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 3,125 miles per year. This low usage suggests the car has been used for short trips or remained for extended periods, which typically results in less wear on mechanical components such as the engine, gearbox, and suspension bushings. However, such low-mileage can sometimes lead to issues related to vehicle sitting, such as flat-sp tyres or surface corrosion on brake discs. Given the lack of recorded faults, a buyer should focus their physical inspection on signs of stagnation or low-mileage wear. Check the brake rotors for surface rust or pitting from lack of use and verify that rubber components like suspension bushes and sidewalls are not cracking or degrading from age. Since the MOT history is sparse due to the low mileage, it is essential to confirm that annual oil services have been followed regardless of the distance covered to ensure the engine remains properly lubricated.
