2006 Nissan Note SE 1.4L Petrol · BIG 7367

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile, with all five MOT tests from 2021 to 2025 recording no defects. The most recent 2025 test at 47,382 miles confirmed compliance, indicating consistent maintenance. No recurring issues or escalating faults are evident in the history, suggesting the previous owner prioritized basic upkeep. The absence of advisories or failures over this period implies no critical mechanical or structural risks were identified. The mileage of 47,382 miles for a 20-year-old vehicle is unusually low, averaging 2,369 miles annually. This suggests either infrequent use or prolonged periods of inactivity, which could affect components like the battery, belts, and fluids. Notably, the 2022 test at 40,022 miles showed a 3,095-mile jump from the 2021 mileage of 36,937, raising questions about potential gaps in recorded usage. However, the subsequent tests from 2022 to 2025 show steady increases, aligning with typical annual driving patterns. The clean MOT history offsets concerns about long-term storage, but a physical inspection is advised to confirm component condition. A buyer should focus on signs of age-related deterioration despite the MOT record. Suspension components, such as bushes and coil springs, may show wear from limited use, while brake discs and calipers could exhibit corrosion if the vehicle was stored. The exhaust system and structural integrity should also be checked, as low mileage does not eliminate risks from environmental exposure. No specific faults are noted in the history, but the combination of age and mileage warrants a thorough pre-purchase inspection to verify the vehicle’s mechanical and corrosion-free state.
