2017 Honda CBR 0.1L Petrol · FL17 AEC

The vehicle maintains a high roadworthiness status with a perfectly stable maintenance trend across its recorded history. The most recent test conducted on January 26 2024 at 8,235 miles passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This indicates that the motorcycle has been maintained to a standard that meets all minimum safety and environmental requirements without any mechanical failures during the inspection periods. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a nine-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 915 miles per year. Between the December 2022 test at 7,161 miles and the January 2024 test at 8,235 miles, the bike covered only 1,074 miles over thirteen months. This low usage suggests the vehicle likely sits for extended periods, which typically reduces mechanical wear on the drivetrain and suspension components. The lack of any mileage-related advisories across these tests confirms the vehicle has not been subjected to high-stress riding. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on components associated with long-term storage rather than mechanical wear. Low-mile vehicles often suffer from flat spots on tyres, corrosion on brake discs, and degradation of rubber seals or fluid lines. Inspect the chain for excessive slack or rust, check the fork seals for weeping, and verify that the brake fluid has not absorbed moisture over time. Since the record shows no structural corrosion or recurring faults, the primary risk remains the age-related degradation of consumables that an MOT test cannot detect.
