1991 Nissan Figaro 1.0L Petrol · H762 WAH

The roadworthiness status of this Nissan Figaro is currently sound, supported by clean test outcomes that indicate a stable and well-maintained condition. In the March 20, 2026 test at 51,436 miles, the vehicle passed with zero defects recorded, repeating the flawless result from the November 18, 2024 test. This streak of immaculate passes shows an improving trajectory from routine wear, reflecting diligent recent care by the previous keeper. The vehicle has covered roughly 1,470 miles per year over its 35-year lifespan, accumulating a total of 51,436 recorded miles by the March 2026 test. This exceptionally low mileage profile points to either very light use or significant periods spent in storage, as demonstrated by the sparse MOT dataset provided. Such minimal annual usage means that while drivetrain stress remains low, rubber components and fluid degradation require careful observation. An in-person inspection must prioritize the structural integrity of the chassis and sills, as these classic Nissan models are notoriously susceptible to hidden corrosion. Check the suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake components thoroughly for perished rubber or seized mechanisms caused by long periods of inactivity. Verify the cooling system and turbocharger operation during a cold start, ensuring that low mileage has not masked underlying age-related deterioration in auxiliary engine systems.
