The most recent MOT on 2 May 2023 recorded a pass at 1,067 miles with no defects, indicating a clean status at that time; however, more than three years have elapsed since that test, so the current roadworthiness cannot be confirmed from the record alone. The absence of any recorded failures suggests a stable maintenance pattern up to the last inspection, but the gap in annual testing creates uncertainty. A mileage of 1,067 miles on a 2010‑registered vehicle works out to roughly 67 miles per year, an exceptionally low figure for a sixteen‑year‑old machine. The data shows no periods of rapid accumulation, implying either very light usage or prolonged storage. No additional MOT entries are present, so the record offers limited insight beyond the single 2023 result. A prospective buyer should examine the chassis for any hidden corrosion, especially around suspension mounting points and the under‑body, as long‑term storage can encourage rust. Inspect the suspension bushes, coil springs, and any visible shock absorbers for signs of fatigue or leakage. Verify brake discs, pads, and calipers for wear or binding, and assess tyre tread depth and sidewall condition despite the low mileage. Finally, confirm that the vehicle possesses a valid, up‑to‑date MOT and that any missing tests are accounted for before finalising purchase.
