2025 Land Rover Discovery Dynamic SE D Mhev A 3.0L Diesel · X18 ABA

This Land Rover Discovery lacks any documented MOT history, rendering a formal roadworthiness assessment impossible. Without test dates, advisories, or pass/fail outcomes, there is no evidence of maintenance trends—whether stable, worsening, or improving. The absence of records also means critical components like suspension integrity, brake performance, and exhaust emissions cannot be evaluated against DVSA standards. Buyers should treat this as a vehicle with no verifiable compliance history, necessitating a thorough independent inspection before purchase. Mileage data is entirely absent, preventing any assessment of usage patterns relative to the vehicle’s age. A 2025 model with no MOTs suggests either extreme neglect or a deliberate attempt to conceal service history. In either case, the lack of mileage figures makes it impossible to gauge whether the vehicle has been driven sparingly or subjected to excessive wear. Without this baseline, even the most basic wear-and-tear expectations—such as tyre degradation or brake pad life—cannot be reasonably estimated. Given the complete absence of MOT records, a buyer must prioritise a full mechanical inspection with a focus on high-risk areas. The suspension system—particularly coil springs, bushes, and dampers—should be checked for uneven wear or leaks, as these components often fail catastrophically without prior warning. Brake systems demand scrutiny: binding calipers, uneven pad thickness, or excessive rotor wear are common red flags in vehicles with unclear histories. Structural integrity is another concern; inspect the underbody for corrosion around wheel arches, sills, and the subframe, as these areas are prone to hidden deterioration in older models. Finally, verify the integrity of the MHEV hybrid system, including battery health and wiring harnesses, as these systems are costly to repair if neglected.
