2019 BMW X5 3.0L Diesel · X777 ACL

The 2019 BMW X5 remains roadworthy, with no defects recorded in its most recent MOT on 2026-03-19 at 101,970 miles. All prior tests, including the 2025-01-31 and 2023-12-05 assessments, also showed no issues, indicating a stable maintenance trend. The vehicle has consistently met legal standards, with no recurring mechanical or structural concerns flagged over the past four years. The mileage progression reveals an average of 14,567 miles annually, exceeding typical usage for its age. A significant jump from 49,806 miles in 2022-01-25 to 77,092 miles by 2022-11-30 suggests accelerated wear, though no defects were recorded during that period. Subsequent tests at 96,626, 99,446, and 101,970 miles maintained compliance, implying consistent upkeep. However, the irregular testing intervals—particularly the 14-month gap between 2023-12-05 and 2025-01-31—may obscure potential developing issues. A buyer should inspect the suspension system for worn bushes or coil springs, as high mileage often accelerates such wear. Brake discs and calipers, critical for safety, warrant scrutiny for uneven wear or corrosion, especially given the vehicle’s age. The exhaust system and emissions components should also be checked, as older vehicles may develop leaks or inefficiencies. While the MOT history shows no immediate risks, the combination of high mileage and irregular testing underscores the need for a detailed pre-purchase inspection.
