2006 Iveco Eurpcargo 3.9L Diesel · YJ06 AJV

The roadworthiness status of this 2006 Iveco Eurocargo is currently unverified for the immediate present, as the most recent test on August 25, 2023 at 188,775 miles represents a significant lapse ending nearly three years ago relative to today in August 2026. The historical maintenance trend appears entirely stable on paper, with clean passes recorded in both May 2022 at 181,908 miles and August 2023 without a single advisory or failure issued by the testing station. The mileage accumulation sits at roughly 9,439 miles per year over its twenty-year lifespan, representing normal commercial utilization for a heavy vehicle of this classification. A notable operational gap exists between the May 2022 and August 2023 tests where the vehicle covered 6,867 miles in fifteen months, followed by a complete absence of DVSA records for the subsequent three years leading up to August 2026. This sparse historical dataset limits a definitive assessment of recent mechanical care, requiring careful verification of whether the vehicle has been laid up or operated without a valid test certificate during the intervening years. Prospective buyers must conduct a rigorous physical inspection focusing on heavy commercial chassis integrity, structural corrosion on the chassis rails, and air brake system efficiency, despite the complete lack of historical advisories. Commercial vehicles frequently suffer from degradation of suspension bushes, leaf springs, and air suspension components when standing idle for extended periods, making a thorough underbody examination essential. Check the braking system for seized or binding calipers and examine the drivetrain for oil leaks, as the high cumulative mileage places heavy demands on the transmission and differential units.
