2006 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2L Diesel · AJ06 VUD

The Vauxhall Corsa presents a stable roadworthiness status based on its most recent test. On 7 November 2024 at 112,984 miles the vehicle passed with no defects recorded, though the same date also shows a failed entry with no defects listed, suggesting an administrative or procedural error at the test centre rather than a mechanical fault. The maintenance trend across the available history is clean and consistent, with passes recorded annually and no advisories or reported wear on suspension bushes, brake discs, exhaust emissions, or structural integrity. Mileage accumulation has been low for a 2006 vehicle. The record shows 91,620 miles at the 1 December 2021 test, rising to 95,383 by 28 November 2022, then 100,158 on 22 November 2023, and 112,984 on 7 November 2024. That equates to roughly 5,649 miles per year across its life. The gaps between tests are regular at around twelve months, with no sudden accumulation that would hint at heavy commercial use or neglected intervals. The DVSA data flags no recurring faults, corrosion, or consumable wear across the five entries. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of common Corsa weak points not captured by a clean MOT: front coil springs, track rod ends, and underbody corrosion near sills and suspension mounts. Low annual mileage often means long periods standing, which accelerates rubber perishing in brake hoses and suspension bushes. Given the absence of advisories, previous owners appear to have kept the car to a basic pass standard without deferred maintenance showing in the record. The duplicated 2024 entry with a failure but no defects warrants a check of the full DVSA certificate to confirm the pass is the valid result before purchase.
