2003 Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa 4.2L Petrol · AW03 NSK

This 2003 Maserati Coupe presents a remarkably clean MOT history over the last three years, with no defects recorded in the 2022, 2023, or 2024 tests. The vehicle has covered approximately 8,000 miles since early 2022, suggesting it is being used sparingly but consistently rather than being left to sit for extended periods. The trend is stable and positive, as the lack of advisory items indicates that the vehicle has been well-maintained or lightly driven during this period. However, the low annual mileage of roughly 2,187 miles per year over its lifetime is a double-edged sword. While it suggests the car has not been subjected to high-mileage wear, it also raises the possibility of components seizing or seals drying out due to long-term under-use. Because the MOT test is a basic safety check, it does not confirm the health of the complex Cambiocorsa transmission or the engine’s internal condition. The clean MOT record should not be mistaken for a comprehensive mechanical bill of health. Before purchasing, you must prioritise a professional inspection of the Cambiocorsa clutch and hydraulic system, as these are high-wear components that do not always show up on an MOT. Inspect the condition of all rubber bushes and suspension components for signs of perishing due to age, regardless of the low mileage. Finally, verify the service history to ensure that the low mileage has been matched by regular fluid changes and maintenance, as age-related degradation is a significant risk for a vehicle of this vintage.
