2013 Honda Jazz 1.3L Petrol · BP13 XFF

The vehicle remains roadworthy as of its most recent MOT on 2025-08-14, with no defects recorded at 19,373 miles. The maintenance trend is stable, showing no signs of deterioration or recurring faults over the past two years. Both tests were passed without advisories or failures, indicating consistent mechanical integrity and compliance with UK roadworthiness standards. Mileage progression from 18,641 miles in August 2024 to 19,373 miles in August 2025 reflects a modest annual increase of approximately 732 miles, which aligns with the vehicle’s low overall mileage for its 13-year age. This suggests the car has been lightly used or stored for periods, reducing wear on critical components. There are no signs of rapid mileage accumulation or long gaps between tests, which supports the impression of careful ownership and minimal operational stress. Given the low mileage and clean MOT history, a buyer should still inspect the suspension components closely, particularly the bushes and coil springs, as these can degrade even with low usage due to age and environmental exposure. Brake systems should be checked for binding calipers or uneven pad wear, as these can develop silently over time even without high mileage. The exhaust and underbody should be examined for corrosion, especially around the rear subframe and exhaust mounting points, as rust can compromise structural integrity despite the vehicle’s low mileage. While the MOT record shows no red flags, the age of the vehicle means that hidden wear or fatigue in rubber components — such as steering racks, CV joints, or engine mounts — may not yet be detectable. A pre-purchase inspection should include a full underbody scan, brake fluid condition check, and a test drive to assess steering response and suspension behavior. The absence of defects in recent tests is reassuring, but the vehicle’s age demands a thorough mechanical evaluation to confirm long-term reliability.
