2021 MG 5 Excite Electric · CV71 JFA

The MG 5 Excite presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 27 October 2025 at 70,319 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, following two earlier clean passes in 2024. No advisories or mechanical faults appear anywhere in the supplied history, indicating the vehicle has not required rectification work across its recorded tests. The mileage pattern shows consistent annual use above the norm for a five-year-old car. From the 15 July 2024 test at 62,171 miles to the 25 October 2024 test at 67,858 miles, the car covered 5,687 miles in under four months. By the October 2025 test it reached 70,319 miles, giving a total of roughly 14,064 miles per year against the recorded history. The three tests are spaced without major gaps, and all show clean sheets with no consumable or structural flags. Given the absence of recorded defects, the previous owner appears to have kept the car to a basic pass standard with no outstanding advisories carried forward. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of suspension bushes, brake discs and calipers, and underbody corrosion, as MOT passes with zero advisories do not confirm component life remaining. The high annual mileage means drivetrain and clutch wear should be physically checked despite the clean test record. No recurring faults or structural concerns emerge from the DVSA data. The verdict rests on a short but unbroken pass history; in-person checks of tyre condition, exhaust emissions under load, and steering geometry remain sensible given the mileage accumulated since July 2024.
