2022 Volkswagen ID3 Family Electric · CX22 YVM

The Volkswagen ID3 Family presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent DVSA test on 13 June 2025 at 22,905 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, indicating the vehicle met all statutory requirements at that point and showed no advisories or recurring faults across its history. The recorded mileage of 22,905 miles against a 2022 model year equates to roughly 5,726 miles per year, which is low for a car of this age. The single MOT entry means we cannot chart annual accumulation or identify gaps, but the clean 2025 result at just over four years old suggests light use rather than neglected storage. Low mileage on an EV of this type typically limits wear on brake discs, suspension bushes, and drivetrain components. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection despite the clean record. With only one test on file, the absence of historical advisories offers no insight into tyre condition, wiper wear, or creeping corrosion that may sit below test thresholds. Standing periods implied by low mileage can allow brake calipers to seize or flat spots to form on tyres. Check the 12-volt battery health, underbody for structural rust, and suspension linkages during any viewing. The 2025 pass confirms compliance twelve months ago, but the current date of 8 July 2026 leaves the vehicle due a fresh test with no data since.
