2007 Mercedes C 2.1L Diesel · CY07 KXA

The 2007 Mercedes-Benz C presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 31 December 2025 at 145,370 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken five-year sequence of clean MOT outcomes from December 2021 through to the end of 2025. Annual mileage has averaged roughly 3,700 miles across the recorded period, well below the 7,651 miles per year typical for a 19-year-old vehicle. The tester logged 130,401 miles in December 2021, rising to 133,658 by December 2022, 137,338 in December 2023, 141,651 in December 2024, and 145,370 in December 2025. No gaps or sudden accumulation appear. The sparse, fault-free record suggests the previous keeper maintained the car to a standard that satisfied annual statutory testing without triggering advisories. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection beneath the car. Nineteen years of age invites corrosion to subframes, floor pans, and suspension mounting points even where the MOT logged no structural defects. The front suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs warrant measurement for fatigue and wear unseen in a pass result. Given the clean history, no recurring mechanical fault pattern exists to flag. The prudent step remains a pre-purchase check of exhaust emissions, tyre sidewall condition, and drivetrain oil leaks, as these consumables fall outside MOT failure thresholds until significantly degraded.
