2015 Toyota Hilux 3.0L Diesel · DA65 HNN

The vehicle currently maintains a roadworthy status, having passed its most recent MOT on January 27, 2026, at 103,874 miles. The maintenance trend appears stable as the vehicle consistently achieves clean passes following initial failures. The fact that the failures in January 2026 and January 2025 resulted in no recorded defects on the passing certificates suggests that the issues were likely related to minor items or light-touch adjustments that were rectified immediately before the re-test. The mileage pattern is remarkably consistent for an eleven-year-old Hil, averaging approximately 9,443 miles per year. Between the January 2024 test at 84,268 miles and the January 2025 test at 93,675 miles, the vehicle covered 9,407 miles. A further 10,199 miles recorded between early 2025 and early 2026 confirms this steady usage profile. This linear accumulation indicates a predictable wear cycle rather than long periods of stationary neglect or heavy-duty cycles that would prematurely age drivetrain components. While the record shows no recurring mechanical faults or deep structural corrosion, the buyer should still perform a physical inspection of the suspension system and chassis. Given the age and mileage of the Toyota, check the rubber bushes and control arms for signs of cracking or tearing which often do not trigger an MOT failure until significant degradation. Examine the brake discs and calipers for heavy pitting or uneven wear to ensure the recent clean passes reflect the actual mechanical state of the braking hardware.
