2011 Ford Fiesta 1.2L Petrol · EA11 JTO

The 2011 Ford Fiesta presents a stable and reassuring maintenance trend, culminating in a clean pass on 29 December 2025 at 98,727 miles with zero defects recorded. That same day also shows a failed entry at 98,725 miles with no defects noted, which typically indicates a retest following a minor rectification or an administrative anomaly rather than a significant mechanical failure. The overall trajectory from 2023 through 2025 is one of consistent compliance, with no advisories or failures appearing across four consecutive test cycles. This pattern suggests the vehicle has been maintained to a competent standard in recent years. The mileage accumulation of roughly 6,582 miles per year over fifteen years sits squarely within typical usage for a small hatchback of this age. The recorded intervals show steady progression: 86,827 miles in January 2023, 90,598 miles by December 2023, 94,358 miles in January 2025, and 98,727 miles by December 2025. There are no alarming gaps or sudden spikes in accumulation that would suggest long periods of disuse or unusually intensive driving. The data is clean and consistent, which supports the conclusion that this car has been in regular daily service. Despite the unblemished MOT record, a prospective buyer should still carry out a thorough physical inspection. The absence of flagged defects does not guarantee the absence of wear. At nearly 99,000 miles, consumable components such as brake discs, pads, tyres, and suspension bushes are well within expected service life and should be checked for remaining depth and condition. The exhaust system, including the catalytic converter and mounting points, warrants close examination for corrosion, particularly given the vehicle's age. Tyre condition and alignment should be verified, as uneven wear can develop gradually without triggering an MOT advisory until it becomes severe. Structural integrity beneath the vehicle deserves particular attention. Fifteen years of exposure to road salt and moisture can produce hidden corrosion on subframes, sills, and suspension mounting points, even when the outer body appears sound. A buyer should inspect these areas with the car raised on a ramp, checking for any signs of perforation, flaking, or previous patch repairs. The steering and suspension should be tested for play or knocking over uneven surfaces, as worn track rod ends or drop links may not always present as a failure at low-speed MOT testing. Overall, the record supports a well-maintained vehicle, but hands-on verification remains essential before purchase.
