2000 Audi TT 1.8L Petrol · EAZ 8060

The vehicle maintains a high level of roadworthiness based on a consistent history of clean MOT passes. The most recent test conducted in February 2025 at 118,310 miles resulted in no recorded defects or advisories. This indicates a remarkably stable maintenance trend over the last several years, suggesting that the vehicle has been kept to a high standard without the mechanical or structural failures typically seen in this era. The mileage profile is exceptionally low for a twenty-six-year-old Audi, averaging approximately 4,500 miles per year. Between September 2019 and February 2025, the car covered only 6,984 miles, showing a pattern of infrequent use. The intervals between tests, such as the 540-mile gap between the February 2024 and 2025 tests, indicate the vehicle may have sat for extended periods. While low mileage reduces wear on the drivetrain and engine, it often increases the risk of rubber-based components degrading or fluid contamination due to inactivity. Despite the clean digital record, an in-person inspection must focus on components susceptible to age-related decay rather than mileage wear. A buyer should specifically examine the suspension bushes, coil springs, and tyre sidewalls for cracking or rot caused by low usage. Given the vehicle's age, the brake system should be checked for perished or seized calipers that often occur when stationary. Furthermore, a thorough check of the chassis and floorpan for corrosion is essential, as MOT testers only flag rust once it reaches a specific threshold of structural compromise.
