2011 Ford Kuga 2.0L Diesel · FL11 OKP

The 2011 Ford Kuga presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 11 March 2026 at 171,712 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken sequence of clean results across the last five years. Mileage sits at a typical level for a fifteen-year-old vehicle, averaging roughly 11,447 miles per year. The records show steady annual use: 156,550 miles in January 2022, 159,941 in February 2023, 164,134 in February 2024, 168,053 in February 2025, and 171,712 in March 2026. No gaps or sudden accumulation appear. The DVSA history is sparse in advisories, with every entry listing no defects at all. A clean MOT sheet across this period implies the previous owners kept basic upkeep current, though the absence of advisories means worn consumables such as tyres, brake discs, and suspension bushes were either replaced before each test or remained within limits. At 171,712 miles the buyer should still verify in person that the suspension components, brake calipers, and exhaust system show no latent corrosion or binding. Given the high mileage and age, a physical inspection of structural integrity underneath remains sensible. The Kuga is known for rear subframe rust; the tester logged none, but surface corrosion can develop between annual tests. Budget for forthcoming consumable renewal rather than assuming an extended fault-free run.
