2016 Honda CR-V 1.6L Diesel · FL16 MYJ

This Honda CR-V presents an exceptionally stable roadworthiness profile. The most recent MOT on 16 March 2026 at 86,171 miles resulted in a clean pass with no defects or advisories recorded. This follows a consistent five-year trend of first-time passes without a single recorded failure or advisory since March 2022. The mileage accumulation is steady and typical for a vehicle of this age. Between 11 March 2022 and 16 March 2026, the odometer rose from 53,808 to 86,171 miles. The annual distance has remained relatively consistent, with the highest single-year increase occurring between March 2025 and March 2026, where the vehicle covered 9,755 miles. This suggests regular use rather than prolonged periods of standing, which helps maintain seals and battery health. The absence of any flagged issues regarding suspension bushes, brake disc corrosion, or exhaust emissions over the last five years indicates a high standard of preventative maintenance. Most vehicles of this vintage typically show at least minor advisories for tyre tread or wiper blades, yet this record remains entirely clear. This suggests a previous owner who addressed wear-and-tear items before they reached a reportable threshold. A physical inspection should still focus on common age-related vulnerabilities not always captured in a standard MOT. Check the condition of the brake fluid and transmission oil, as these service items are not listed in the DVSA record. Inspect the underside for any superficial corrosion and verify the service history to ensure the oil change intervals align with the mileage growth seen between 2022 and 2026.
