2010 Land Rover Freelander 2.2L Diesel · GU10 WTR

The 2025‑07‑21 MOT at 88,911 miles passed without any defects, confirming that the vehicle remains road‑worthy and that the maintenance record shows no signs of deterioration. All four tests from July 2022 through July 2025 have been passed with zero recorded failures, indicating a stable maintenance trend and no worsening condition. Mileage has risen steadily from 71,126 miles in the July 2022 test to 88,911 miles in July 2025, an increase of roughly 5,900 miles per year, which aligns with the vehicle’s age of 16 years and suggests regular, moderate use rather than long periods of inactivity. The consistent annual testing intervals further imply that the owner has kept the car up to date with statutory requirements. A buyer should therefore focus on the suspension system, examining bushes and coil springs for wear or cracking, and inspect the brake assembly for binding calipers, worn discs or uneven pad thickness, as these components are common failure points on high‑mileage Freelander models. Additionally, a thorough visual inspection of the chassis, wheel arches and underbody for structural rust, verification of tyre tread depth and even wear, and confirmation that service intervals have been observed will provide confidence that the recorded clean MOT history reflects genuine mechanical condition.
