2018 Renault Megane 1.2L Petrol · JB18 RPB

The most recent MOT on 2026-01-13 shows a failure at 65,214 miles, but no defects were recorded. This is the first failure in the vehicle’s MOT history, which previously showed passing results with no defects listed for all prior tests. The failure occurred on the same date as a passing test, which may indicate a data entry error or a procedural issue, though this cannot be confirmed. The vehicle’s MOT history from 2023 to 2024 shows consistent passing results with no defects, suggesting a stable condition during that period. All recorded tests at lower mileages (10,189 to 34,747 miles) were passed without issues. The lack of defects in prior MOTs implies no significant mechanical problems were identified in the vehicle’s earlier years. The current mileage of 65,214 miles for an 8-year-old vehicle is typical , averaging around 8,152 miles per year. This suggests normal usage rather than excessive wear or prolonged inactivity. However, the recent failure without recorded defects raises uncertainty about the vehicle’s current condition. While no specific faults are documented, the failure could indicate an emerging issue requiring investigation.
