2007 Porsche Boxster 3.4L Petrol · KH07 TVW

The vehicle maintains a roadworthy status with a stable maintenance trend despite the age of the platform. The most recent test on October 21 2025 at 42,313 miles identified an advisory for slight play in the steering rack ends. This marks a departure from the clean records seen in 2023 and 2024, suggesting that rubber components are now beginning to show signs of age rather than high mileage. The mileage profile is exceptionally low for a 2007 registration, averaging approximately 2,227 miles per year. Between October 2021 and October 2025, the car covered 2,428 miles, moving from 39,885 to 42,313 miles. While low mileage typically reduces mechanical wear on the engine and gearbox, it often leads to the degradation of rubber-based components like seals, hoses, and suspension bushings due to long periods of inactivity. A buyer should prioritize a physical inspection of the steering and suspension geometry to address the noted play in the rack ends. The MOT history from 2021 and 2022 shows recurring issues with rear tyres worn close to the legal limit and worn on the edges, which indicates potential alignment issues or incorrect camber settings. Given the low annual usage, an inspection is also vital to check for brake corrosion on the discs and perished tyres sidewalls which are common failure points for vehicles that sit stationary for extended periods.
