2008 DAF Trucks LF 45 4.5L Diesel · PFZ 6447

The most recent MOT from November 2024 was a pass with no defects recorded. This follows a consistent five-year history where the vehicle has passed every annual test without any recorded defects or advisories. The mechanical trend appears stable. There is no evidence in the provided history of deteriorating condition or recurring failures that would suggest an immediate mechanical pattern of decline. However, the mileage is high for an 18-year-old vehicle. Averaging approximately 27,830 miles per year, the total of 500,942 miles indicates heavy, consistent use. While the MOT history is clean, this level of mileage typically implies significant cumulative wear on major components such as the drivetrain, suspension, and braking systems. A buyer should prioritize a thorough physical inspection of the drivetrain, suspension, and steering systems to check for signs of heavy wear that may not have yet triggered an MOT failure. You should also closely examine the condition of all major mechanical joints and seals.
