A recurring pattern of initial MOT failures followed by rapid re-tests and passes defines the roadworthiness history of this vehicle, with the most recent pass recorded on 4 August 2023. This trend of failing and then passing within a few days occurred in 2019, 2022, and 2023, indicating a consistent requirement for corrective work to achieve a valid certificate. The recorded mileage of 233,695 miles is typical for a vehicle of this age, averaging approximately 9,348 miles per year. This level of usage indicates significant wear on all major drivetrain components and suspension mountings. There is a notable gap in the testing history between April 2018 and September 2019, suggesting a period of reduced road use. As the provided records do not list the specific defects that led to the three recorded failures, a comprehensive physical inspection is required. A test drive should be used to identify any drivetrain irregularities, such as shudder or vibration, and any suspension knocks or steering pull that may be present given the high mileage. Particular attention should be paid to the condition of the chassis and suspension linkages to determine the nature of the previous failures.
