2023 Honda HR-V Elegance I-MMD CVT 1.5L Hybrid electric (clean) · S22 OAP

This vehicle lacks any documented MOT history, rendering a formal roadworthiness assessment impossible. Without test dates, mileage readings, or advisory notes, there is no basis to evaluate maintenance trends, recurring faults, or structural integrity. The absence of records suggests either a first-time registration or deliberate omission of service documentation, both of which are red flags for a buyer. Critical components such as suspension bushes, coil springs, brake calipers, and exhaust systems cannot be verified for wear or failure patterns. The vehicle’s condition remains entirely speculative until a professional inspection confirms its mechanical state. The lack of mileage data or sequential MOT entries prevents any assessment of usage patterns. A 2023 model with no test history cannot be evaluated for excessive wear, rapid depreciation, or neglect. Even if the vehicle has been driven modestly, the absence of records means critical components like tyres, brakes, and suspension may have deteriorated beyond safe limits without evidence. Buyers should assume the worst until a full inspection reveals otherwise, as silent failures in CVT transmissions or suspension failures are common in vehicles without proper maintenance logs. Given the complete absence of MOT data, a buyer must prioritise an independent inspection focusing on high-risk areas. The CVT transmission should be checked for fluid degradation, as CVTs are prone to failure if not serviced regularly. Suspension components—particularly bushes, ball joints, and coil springs—must be examined for cracking or excessive play, as these failures often go unnoticed until advanced. Brake discs and pads should be measured for remaining thickness, with particular attention to binding calipers or uneven wear. Structural corrosion, especially around wheel arches and sills, should be assessed, as this is a common issue in HR-V models exposed to UK road conditions. Without prior MOT evidence, no assumptions about reliability can be made.
