2015 Vauxhall Vivaro 1.6L Diesel · S77 BSU

The 2016 Honda Civic remains roadworthy based on its most recent MOT test on 2025-06-07 at 99,480 miles, which recorded a pass with no defects. The maintenance trend is stable, as all prior tests from 2022 to 2024 also passed without issues. No recurring mechanical or structural faults are evident in the history, suggesting consistent upkeep. However, the vehicle’s age and mileage align with typical usage patterns, and the absence of recorded advisories does not confirm proactive maintenance beyond legal compliance. The mileage progression shows steady annual accumulation, averaging approximately 9,948 miles per year since 2016. Tests were conducted annually between 2022 and 2025, with no gaps exceeding 12 months, indicating regular compliance with MOT requirements. The 99,480-mile reading on 2025-06-07 confirms the vehicle has not experienced sudden spikes in usage that might accelerate wear on components like tyres, brakes, or suspension. This consistency suggests the car has been driven within expected parameters for its age. A buyer should verify the condition of suspension bushes and coil springs, as these can degrade over time without immediate MOT failure. While no corrosion or structural issues were noted, the 10-year-old chassis warrants inspection for rust, particularly in underbody areas. Brake discs and calipers should also be checked for uneven wear, as minor faults may not trigger MOT failures. The absence of recorded defects does not eliminate the need for a pre-purchase inspection to confirm the vehicle’s mechanical integrity beyond regulatory standards.
