2011 Dennis Elite Diesel · SJZ 4058

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness status based on the latest available MOT data. The most recent test conducted on 15 September 2022 at 206,449 miles passed with no defects recorded, indicating that the vehicle met all safety and environmental standards at that time. However, the record is now lapsed by nearly four years, leaving the current mechanical condition unverified. The mileage profile reflects high annual usage for a 15-year-old vehicle. Between 7 September 2021 and 15 September 2022, the vehicle covered 17,762 miles, which exceeds the calculated average of 13,763 miles. This rapid accumulation suggests consistent heavy use, likely in a commercial or high-duty capacity, which places significant stress on the drivetrain, engine components, and braking system. The lack of any MOT entries since September 2022 is a primary concern, as the vehicle has potentially operated for several years without a professional safety inspection. A buyer must prioritize a physical inspection of the structural integrity and suspension components due to the high mileage and age of the Dennis Elite. The tester should check for advanced corrosion on the chassis and mounting points, as well as excessive play in suspension bushes and coil springs. Given the gap in recorded tests, a thorough evaluation of the brake system for binding calipers or worn-out discs is essential to ensure the vehicle has not deteriorated since its last recorded pass.
