2024 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate 1.6L Petrol · V7 AJL

This vehicle currently has no recorded DVSA MOT history, which is expected and appropriate given its 2024 registration date. As new vehicles in the United Kingdom are not required to undergo their first MOT test until the end of their third year, the absence of records does not suggest a lack of maintenance but rather confirms the vehicle is still within its initial grace period. Consequently, there is no historical trend of failures or advisories to analyze, and the vehicle should theoretically still be covered by the manufacturer warranty, provided the service schedule has been strictly adhered to. The recorded mileage is currently unknown, making it impossible to establish a definitive annual usage rate or identify any abnormal patterns of accumulation. For a vehicle of this age, a high-mileage example would necessitate a closer inspection of wear-and-tear components such as brake pads and tyre treads. Conversely, an exceptionally low-mileage vehicle may be susceptible to issues arising from prolonged inactivity. Without this data, the buyer must prioritize verifying the odometer reading against the service intervals to ensure the mechanical health of the engine and transmission. Given the lack of MOT data, the physical inspection must focus on the vehicle's current state and service documentation. It is imperative to verify the full service history to ensure that all scheduled oil changes and filter replacements have been performed by an authorized technician to maintain the warranty. During a test drive, listen for any abnormal suspension clunks or wind noise, and feel for any shuddering during braking, which could indicate warped brake discs. Check the tyre sidewalls for any signs of perishing or cracking, particularly if the car has been stored outdoors for extended periods. Further attention should be paid to the electrical systems and fluid integrity. As the Ultimate trim features a high density of electronic components, verify the health of the 12V battery and ensure all infotainment and driver assistance systems are functioning correctly. Inspect the brake calipers for any signs of binding and check the underbody for any fluid leaks, specifically around the engine seals and transmission. Finally, ensure that the calendar-based maintenance, such as cabin and air filter replacements, has been completed regardless of the total mileage covered.
