2013 Volkswagen Caddy 1.6L Diesel · VO63 NWX

The vehicle currently holds a roadworthy status, reflecting a stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT test on 10 April 2026 at 202,105 miles passed with no defects recorded, indicating that any issues identified in the prior year have been successfully rectified. While a failure occurred in April 2025, the subsequent clean pass a year later suggests the vehicle is being maintained to a functional standard despite its high usage. The mileage profile is significant for a 13-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 15,500 miles per year. Between April 2023 and April 2026, the vehicle covered 45,880 miles, maintaining a consistent usage pattern of roughly 15,000 miles annually. This high accumulation suggests the van was likely used for commercial purposes or long-distance commuting, which places constant mechanical strain on the drivetrain and suspension components. The lack of long gaps in mileage data indicates the vehicle has not sat stationary for extended periods. A prospective buyer should focus their physical inspection on components most susceptible to high-mileage wear. Given the 200,000-mile mark, a thorough check of the suspension bushes, coil springs, and shock absorbers is essential to identify signs of premature fatigue. The braking system should also be scrutinized for binding calipers or thin discs, as the high-frequency use accelerates the degradation of consumables. Although the MOT record is currently clean, the structural integrity of the chassis and underbody remains a priority to ensure that road salt-induced corrosion has not compromised the frame over its thirteen of service.
