2022 Jaguar I-Pace HSE Black Electric · W90 TAL

A consistent track record of clean roadworthiness defines this vehicle, with the two most recent MOT inspections in May 2025 and June 2026 both returning with no recorded defects. This lack of failures or advisories across the documented testing period indicates that the primary safety and environmental components have met the required standards without any flagged issues regarding structural integrity, lighting, or braking systems. The recorded mileage of 33,096 miles over approximately four years represents a steady usage pattern of roughly 8,274 miles per year. This annual accumulation is consistent with typical UK driving profiles and suggests the vehicle has not been subject to extreme high-mileage wear or, conversely, the potential issues associated with prolonged periods of inactivity. Mechanically, this level of usage means that while consumables such as tyres and brake pads will have undergone standard wear, the vehicle has likely avoided the accelerated degradation of suspension bushings or drivetrain components often seen in much higher-mileage examples. Given the absence of any recorded advisories or defects in the DVSA history, there are no specific mechanical warnings to investigate regarding corrosion, fluid leaks, or component wear. On a test drive, the focus should remain on verifying the smoothness of the electric drivetrain and the responsiveness of the regenerative braking system. Listen for any unusual knocks or vibrations from the suspension linkages when navigating uneven surfaces and check for any steering pull or uneven tyre wear that might indicate alignment issues not captured during the MOT inspection process. Since the MOT records show no specific faults with the braking system or exhaust emissions, ensure the brake pedal feel is firm and consistent without any sponginess or judder under deceleration. The lack of reported issues with the vehicle's underside or structural components means there is no documented evidence of subframe corrosion or damaged brake pipes to warrant specific concern, though a visual inspection of the underbody remains a standard precaution for any used vehicle.
