Its standout feature is the "Virtual Cockpit"—the first of its kind in an Audi—which integrates the infotainment and gauges into a single 12.3-inch screen, creating a minimalist, driver-focused dashboard that remains a benchmark for interior design. Reliability is generally excellent, as the Mk3 benefits from the matured EA888 Gen 3 engine and the proven S tronic dual-clutch transmission. However, it is not without familiar VAG-group weaknesses. The plastic water pump and thermostat housing are frequent leak points, often requiring replacement before 60,000 miles.
