Cupra Models
Originally SEAT's performance arm, Cupra became a standalone brand in 2018. They share components across the Volkswagen Group (VAG), meaning they benefit from proven platforms but also inherit widespread software and electronic issues common to modern VW, Audi, and SEAT models.
Cupra Born
Cupra's first fully electric car, based on the VW ID.3. It offers a much sharper design and interior than its VW sibling but shares the same ID-platform software quirks.
Cupra Formentor
Cupra's first bespoke model. A stylish crossover that has been a huge success. While mechanically sound, it is heavily reliant on touchscreens and software which can be temperamental.
Cupra Leon (Mk4)
The performance version of the SEAT Leon. Available as a hatchback or Estate (ST). It offers excellent value compared to a Golf GTI but shares the Golf 8's interior software frustrations.
Cupra Ateca
The first Cupra-branded car. A performance SUV with 300hp. It is based on the older Mk3 Leon/Golf 7 platform, making it generally more reliable than the newer software-heavy models.
