2010 Volkswagen Caddy 2.0L Diesel · AH10 AGW

The 2010 Volkswagen Caddy presents a stable and reassuring roadworthiness profile. The most recent test on 16 March 2026 at 155,520 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken five-year sequence of clean MOT outcomes. The maintenance trend shows no deterioration and no recurring advisories across the available history. Annual mileage sits close to the typical 9,720 miles for a 16-year-old vehicle. Records show 135,439 miles in March 2022, rising to 137,432 by March 2023, 140,161 in March 2024, 144,767 in March 2025, and 155,520 in March 2026. The year to March 2026 added 10,753 miles, a slight uplift but consistent with steady light-commercial use. No gaps or sudden accumulation appear in the data, and the clean sheet across every entry implies the previous keeper kept on top of consumables and mechanical condition. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection despite the spotless record. Five consecutive passes with zero advisories is unusual for a high-mileage Caddy of this era and may mean the testers simply logged no minor wear. Examine front suspension arms and bushes for play, check rear coil springs for fractures, and inspect brake discs and calipers for binding or uneven wear. Structural corrosion around sills, chassis legs, and the rear axle mountings remains the key risk on a 155k-mile 2010 van. Verify the underside is free of penetrating rust and confirm the cambelt and water pump interval has been honoured, as the MOT does not cover internal engine servicing.
