2018 Ford Transit 350 2.0L Heavy oil · AL03 AGG

The 2018 Ford Transit 350 remains roadworthy as of its most recent MOT on 2026-02-19, with no defects recorded at 109,493 miles. The clean test outcome suggests no immediate mechanical or safety concerns, though the absence of prior MOT data limits insight into long-term maintenance trends. The vehicle’s current status reflects compliance, but the sparse history prevents assessment of recurring issues or gradual deterioration. The recorded mileage of 109,493 miles over eight years equates to an average of 13,687 miles annually, exceeding typical usage for this age. This high accumulation rate may accelerate wear on consumables like tyres and brake pads, though no such issues were flagged in the latest test. The lack of historical MOT entries—only a single record exists—means there is no evidence of past faults, corrosion, or structural concerns. However, the vehicle’s age and mileage suggest potential strain on suspension components, drivetrain elements, and exhaust systems, which may require closer scrutiny. A buyer should prioritise inspecting the suspension for worn bushes or coil springs, as high mileage often exacerbates these issues. Brake discs and calipers should be checked for uneven wear or binding, while the exhaust system’s integrity and underbody corrosion warrant attention. Given the absence of prior defects, the vehicle’s mechanical state appears stable, but the limited data underscores the need for a thorough pre-purchase inspection to confirm the condition of critical systems not assessed in the MOT.
