2025 Toyota RAV4 GR Sport Phev Auto 2.5L Hybrid electric (clean) · DU04 AAO

A high-intensity usage profile defines this vehicle, which has covered 15,112 miles within its first year of operation. The single recorded MOT test on 22 June 2026 shows a pass with no defects or advisories, indicating that despite the rapid accumulation of mileage, the vehicle met all essential regulatory standards at the time of inspection. The annual mileage rate of approximately 15,112 miles is significantly higher than the UK average for a vehicle of this age. This level of usage suggests frequent, consistent driving rather than long periods of inactivity. Mechanically, this higher-than-average mileage means that consumable components such as brake pads, tyres, and wiper blades will reach the end of their service life sooner than a lower-mileage equivalent. It also implies that the suspension system and drivetrain components are being subjected to more frequent cycles of operation and road stress. Given the absence of any recorded advisories or failures in the DVSA history, there are no specific mechanical defects to investigate from the MOT record. However, because of the high mileage accumulation, a prospective buyer should focus their physical inspection on the wear and tear typical of high-use vehicles. During a test drive, pay close attention to the brake pedal feel for any sponginess or pulsation, which could indicate uneven pad or disc wear. Listen for any rhythmic knocking or clunking sounds when traversing uneven surfaces, which would suggest premature wear in the suspension bushes or shock absorbers. Additionally, monitor the steering for any pulling to one side or vibrations through the steering wheel at motorway speeds, which may indicate tyre wear patterns or wheel alignment issues resulting from the high mileage. Check the exterior for any signs of stone chipping on the lower bodywork or bonnet, a common occurrence with high-mileage vehicles driven frequently on motorways. While the MOT record is clean, the physical inspection should prioritize these areas of high-frequency mechanical wear.
