2020 Mercedes-Benz A 1.3L Petrol · J333 ACW

The Mercedes-Benz A presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 26 March 2026 at 32,667 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded. Prior annual tests in March 2025, March 2024, and March 2023 also passed cleanly with no advisories. The vehicle shows no worsening or recurring mechanical faults across its four-year MOT history. Annual mileage sits low for a six-year-old car. The record shows 23,918 miles in March 2023, rising to 27,067 by March 2024, 29,982 by March 2025, and 32,667 by March 2026. That equates to roughly 2,700 to 2,900 miles added each year, well under the 5,444 annual average implied by the age. The clean test sequence and even yearly increments suggest careful, light use with no standing gaps or sudden accumulation. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection despite the unblemished record. Low mileage and long idle periods can conceal perished suspension bushes, flat-spotted tyres, or corroded brake discs that a short MOT road test may not expose. The absence of advisories means no prior flags on exhaust emissions, structural integrity, or binding calipers to chase up. Given the fault-free history, focus the viewing on fluid condition, underbody corrosion, and evidence of infrequent use such as degraded rubber components. The previous owner appears to have maintained basic statutory testing discipline, though MOT passes alone do not confirm full service history.
