2015 Volkswagen Transporter 2.0L Diesel · J88 RCK

The 2015 Volkswagen Transporter presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend, confirmed by the most recent test on 26 July 2025 at 82,697 miles which recorded no defects. Every MOT entry from 13 May 2022 through to the latest examination passed without advisory or failure, showing the previous keeper sustained the van to a consistent standard over the three-year window. The odometer climbed from 62,771 miles at the May 2022 test to 82,697 miles by July 2025, an average of roughly 6,600 miles per year and below the 7,518-mile annual norm for its age. A short gap appears between the April 2024 pass at 75,531 miles and the July 2024 pass at 76,122 miles, suggesting a re-test or duplicate check rather than a fault. Otherwise the mileage rose evenly with no sudden accumulation that would hint at neglected high-load use. With no advisories logged across five consecutive passes, the record gives no signal of worn suspension bushes, corroded structure, or failing brake components. A buyer should still verify in person that the underbody and chassis lack hidden rust, the coil springs and dampers show no age cracking, and the brake discs are not lipped beyond tolerance despite the clean history. Given the sparse but clean MOT data, the van reflects careful upkeep rather than deferred consumable replacement. Confirm the service book matches the low-mileage pattern and inspect tyre manufacture dates, as the tester raised no tread concerns yet the original sets may now exceed safe age limits.
