2005 Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.2L Petrol · JJZ 8628

The current roadworthiness of this vehicle is unverified and highly questionable. The most recent entry on 19 February 2022 resulted in a failure at 196,023 miles, and there are no recorded passes since that date. With the current date being 24 July 2026, the vehicle has been without a valid MOT for over four years. This represents a significant lapse in maintenance and a worsening trend regarding legal roadworthiness. The mileage pattern remains consistent with the vehicle's age, averaging roughly 9,334 miles per year. There was a steady increase from 164,477 miles in December 2018 to 176,882 miles in November 2019. However, the record shows a complete cessation of usage or testing after February 2022, as the mileage remained static at 196,023 miles for the final entry. This suggests the car has been stationary for several years. A buyer must prioritize a thorough inspection of all rubber components and fluids. Long periods of standing often lead to perished tyres, seized brake calipers, and degraded suspension bushes. The lack of recent testing means there is no data on the current state of the exhaust emissions or the structural integrity of the chassis. Corrosion is a primary risk for a 2005 Fiesta that has sat idle. Particular attention should be paid to the braking system and the battery. The February 2022 failure, despite no specific defects being listed in the provided data, indicates the vehicle was not fit for the road at that time. A full mechanical overhaul is likely required to return this vehicle to a safe operating condition.
