2005 Vauxhall Vivaro 1.9L Diesel · KY05 AHP

The vehicle demonstrates stable roadworthiness, with no defects recorded in its most recent 2026-03-25 MOT at 125,298 miles. All prior tests from 2022 to 2025 also passed without issues, indicating consistent maintenance. No recurring mechanical or structural faults are evident in the history, suggesting the previous owner prioritized regular servicing. The absence of advisories or failures over this period reflects a well-maintained vehicle, though low mileage may mask certain wear patterns. The recorded mileage of 125,298 miles over 21 years equates to approximately 5,967 annual miles, significantly below the UK average for this age. This suggests either light usage or prolonged periods of inactivity, which could affect components like suspension bushes, brake discs, or engine seals. The MOT intervals are regular, with no gaps exceeding 12 months, reinforcing the impression of diligent care. However, the lack of high-mileage wear indicators, such as excessive tyre tread loss or transmission strain, warrants closer inspection of systems prone to stagnation. A buyer should physically examine the suspension for worn bushes or coil springs, as low mileage may conceal age-related degradation. Brake components, including calipers and discs, should be checked for corrosion or binding, particularly if the vehicle was stored for extended periods. The exhaust system requires scrutiny for rust, and the vehicle’s structural integrity should be confirmed via a detailed underbody inspection. While the MOT history is clean, these areas merit attention to ensure no hidden issues stem from prolonged inactivity.
