2007 Vauxhall Vivaro 2.5L Diesel · L333 AAK

The vehicle's MOT history shows a stable trend of passing tests, though a failure occurred in October 2024. While the October 2024 test at 174,299 miles resulted in a pass with no recorded defects, the vehicle failed its initial test on 17 October 2024. The lack of specific defect descriptions for that failure prevents a technical diagnosis of the exact component that failed, but the subsequent pass indicates the issue was rectified before the retest. The recorded mileage of 174,299 miles is consistent with the vehicle's age, averaging approximately 9,174 miles per year since 2007. The MOT records provide a continuous annual testing pattern from 2021 through 2024. There are no significant gaps in the testing timeline, and the mileage appears to accumulate at a steady rate rather than showing signs of long periods of inactivity or sudden, heavy usage. Because the 2024 failure did not specify the fault, a physical inspection is required to assess the condition of common wear items. A buyer should focus on the underside of the chassis for signs of structural corrosion, which is typical for a 19-year-old commercial vehicle. Checking the condition of suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs is also necessary, as these components often show wear at this mileage level. The absence of advisories in the most recent five years of testing suggests that consumable items like tyres and wiper blades were likely replaced before reaching a critical state. However, the lack of detailed advisory data means the current state of the braking system and exhaust emissions cannot be verified through documentation alone. A thorough check of the drivetrain and suspension components is advised to confirm the vehicle's current mechanical state.
