2009 Peugeot 207 Verve HDI 70 1.4L Heavy oil · PJZ 4669

The vehicle presents a stable maintenance profile with a clean recent history. The most recent MOT test on 23 February 2026 at 151,418 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded. This follows a consistent pattern of successful inspections dating back to 2018, suggesting the vehicle has been subject to regular testing and upkeep. The single failure recorded on 06 January 2018 at 99,122 miles appears to have been a minor setback, as the subsequent test on 12 January 2018 cleared the vehicle without further issues. The mileage accumulation follows a predictable and steady trajectory for a 17-year-old diesel vehicle. The car has covered approximately 151,418 miles, averaging roughly 8,900 miles per year. A notable period of lower usage occurred between May 2021 and August 2022, where the mileage rose from 119,153 to 132,137. Since then, the vehicle has seen more consistent annual use, covering roughly 16,000 miles between August 2022 and February 2026. This pattern of usage is typical for a diesel engine and suggests the vehicle has not spent extended periods sitting idle, which helps prevent issues like seized calipers or perished rubber components. Because the recent MOT records show no advisories or defects, there are no immediate mechanical red flags regarding suspension bushes, brake discs, or exhaust emissions. However, given the vehicle's age and total mileage, a physical inspection should prioritise checking for structural corrosion on the sills and underside. While the records are clean, the high mileage means the timing belt, water pump, and suspension dampers should be verified for service history or signs of wear. A buyer should also check the condition of the tyres and brake pads, as these consumables are not always flagged as advisories if they remain just above the legal limit.
