2013 Volkswagen Golf 2.0L Diesel · PX56 AUL

The 2013 Volkswagen Golf presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 5 December 2025 at 49,299 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken sequence of clean MOT outcomes across the available history. The mileage pattern reflects exceptionally light use for a thirteen-year-old vehicle. From the 16 November 2021 test at 40,749 miles to the 5 December 2025 test at 49,299 miles, the car covered just 8,550 miles over four years, averaging roughly 2,138 miles annually. The records show no gaps in annual testing and no rapid accumulation phases; every entry from 2021 through 2025 passed with no advisories, indicating the previous keeper maintained statutory testing discipline and the DVSA testers found no consumable or structural concerns at each interval. Given the absence of any flagged defects across suspension bushes, brake discs, coil springs, exhaust emissions, or corrosion, the MOT record alone reveals no recurring mechanical faults or structural risks. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection beneath the sills and subframes, as the low annual mileage and possible long standing periods can conceal surface rust not yet at test-failure threshold. Verify the service history matches the low mileage, since infrequent use often delays fluid changes and brake caliper exercise beyond manufacturer intervals.
