2010 Toyota Voxy 2.0L Petrol · VU10 ETY

The vehicle’s most recent MOT on 2025-11-21 at 87,465 miles recorded a pass with no defects, but an earlier test on the same date showed a fail with no recorded issues. This suggests potential administrative errors or unrecorded minor faults. Previous tests from 2024-11-27 (79,820 miles) and 2023-11-29 (72,906 miles) were both passed with no defects, indicating a stable maintenance trend. No recurring mechanical issues are evident from the records, though the lack of detailed failure notes limits definitive conclusions. The vehicle’s mileage of 87,465 miles over 16 years equates to approximately 5,467 miles annually, significantly below average for its age. This low usage may reflect infrequent operation or extended periods of inactivity, which can accelerate wear on components like suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs through lack of use. A gap between the 2023-11-29 test (72,906 miles) and the 2024-11-27 test (79,820 miles) suggests a 6,914-mile increase over 12 months, followed by a 7,645-mile rise to 87,465 by 2025. Such patterns could indicate sporadic use rather than consistent driving, warranting closer inspection of systems prone to degradation when underused. A buyer should physically examine the suspension for worn bushes or coil springs, as low mileage may mask hidden wear. Brake components, including discs and calipers, should be checked for corrosion or binding, particularly if the vehicle has been stationary for extended periods. Structural integrity is not flagged in the records, but rust or corrosion in body panels remains a risk for a 16-year-old vehicle. The absence of advisories in recent tests is reassuring, though the lack of detailed failure data from the 2025 test limits confidence in the vehicle’s mechanical state.
