2023 Honda HR-V Advance I-MMD CVT 1.5L Hybrid electric (clean) · WJ 7471

A consistent record of clean roadworthiness defines this vehicle, as evidenced by the most recent MOT pass on 11 June 2026 which reported no defects. This lack of recorded failures or advisories throughout its testing history indicates a period of uninterrupted compliance with minimum safety and environmental standards. The absence of any flagged issues regarding structural integrity, braking systems, or emissions suggests that the mechanical components inspected during the DVSA testing process have met all regulatory requirements without the need for remedial work or noted deterioration. The recorded mileage of 25,338 miles over approximately three years represents an average annual accumulation of roughly 8,446 miles, which aligns with typical UK usage patterns for a modern crossover. This level of mileage suggests the vehicle has been subject to regular, moderate use rather than excessive long-distance commuting or extended periods of stationary storage. Mechanically, this usage profile implies that consumable components such as brake pads, tyres, and suspension bushes should not yet be approaching the end of their primary service life, though they will still be subject to standard wear relative to the total distance travelled. Given the absence of any recorded advisories or defects in the official MOT history, there are no specific mechanical faults or wear patterns to investigate through the lens of previous test results. A prospective buyer should focus their physical inspection on general component health rather than searching for documented issues like corrosion on the subframe or leaks from the drivetrain. On a test drive, attention should be directed toward ensuring there is no unusual noise from the suspension linkages when traversing uneven surfaces and verifying that the CVT transmission provides smooth, uninterrupted power delivery without any shuddering or hesitation. Further scrutiny should be applied to the braking system to confirm there is no pulling to one side under deceleration or any vibration felt through the pedal, which would indicate uneven disc wear or binding calipers. While the MOT records show no issues with the exhaust or emissions, checking for any unusual smells or sounds from the underside of the vehicle can provide additional reassurance. The goal of the inspection should be to confirm that the physical condition of the vehicle aligns with the clean regulatory record provided by the DVSA.
