2011 Toyota Yaris 1.3L Petrol · YB11 AEK

The vehicle is currently roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT on 21 January 2026 at 108,291 miles resulted in a clean pass with no defects or advisories recorded. This follows a consistent pattern of clean passes over the last four years, suggesting a vehicle that has been kept in a state of good repair. The mileage is typical for a 2011 model, averaging roughly 7,219 miles per year. There was a notable increase in usage between 13 January 2025 and 21 January 2026, where the odometer rose from 95,727 to 108,291 miles. This period of higher activity did not result in any new mechanical failures or advisories, indicating the drivetrain and chassis handled the increased load without issue. The record shows a failure on 10 January 2025 at 95,721 miles, though the data lists no specific defects. The vehicle passed three days later, implying a minor or quickly rectified fault. Because the MOT history is unusually clean for a fifteen year old car, the lack of advisories regarding suspension bushes, brake disc corrosion, or exhaust leaks is atypical. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on areas the MOT tester may have overlooked or that do not trigger a failure. Check for structural corrosion on the sills and chassis rails, as these often degrade on older Japanese hatchbacks before becoming a formal failure. Verify the condition of the tyre treads and brake pad thickness to ensure consumables are not nearing their limit, as the clean record provides no data on wear levels.
