2002 BMW F Series 0.7L Petrol · YE02 AUR

The vehicle maintains a stable roadworthiness status with a clean maintenance trend. The most recent MOT on 15 September 2025 at 25,395 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded. This follows a consistent pattern of clean passes dating back to July 2021, indicating the car has been kept in a condition that meets minimum legal standards without recurring mechanical failures. The mileage is exceptionally low for a 24 year old vehicle, averaging roughly 1,058 miles per year. The record shows very little usage between tests, with only 272 miles added between September 2024 and September 2025. This pattern suggests the car has spent significant periods standing, which often presents different risks than high-mileage wear. A buyer must prioritize an inspection of rubber components and fluids. Long periods of inactivity can lead to perished suspension bushes, cracked tyre sidewalls, and degraded brake fluid. Check for binding calipers or pitted brake discs, as low-use vehicles often suffer from surface corrosion on braking surfaces. Inspect the chassis and sills for corrosion, as a lack of regular driving can allow rust to settle in stagnant areas. Verify the health of the battery and ensure the engine oil shows no signs of moisture contamination from infrequent cycling. While the MOT history is flawless, these specific risks are inherent to vehicles with such low annual mileage.
