2012 Toyota Hilux 3.0L Diesel · YT62 AAV

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness, evidenced by a consistently stable maintenance trend. The most recent inspection conducted on 5 January 2026 at 144,766 miles resulted in a clean pass with no recorded defects. This streak of perfect results across the last five tests suggests that the previous owners maintained the vehicle to a high standard, keeping the mechanical components operating without immediate failure or recurring advisories. The mileage pattern is remarkably consistent for a 14-year-old utility vehicle, averaging approximately 10,340 miles per year. Between January 2022 at 112,082 miles and January 2026 at 144,766 miles, the vehicle covered over 32,000 miles, showing steady usage rather than long periods of stagnation. The interval between the December 2024 and January 2026 tests shows a recent accumulation of nearly 8,000 miles, indicating the truck remains in active use without signs of neglect. Despite the clean MOT history, a buyer should still perform a physical inspection of the structural integrity of the chassis and underbody. As a Hilux of this age, it is prone to surface corrosion on the frame rails and mounting points which may not always trigger an MOT failure until they become structural. Focus on the suspension bushes and coil springs for signs of wear, as these components often degrade through high mileage before they necessarily fail a standard emissions test.
